AITPM National Conference Recap
At the end of July, we welcomed over 500 delegates to Perth for this year’s AITPM National Conference. MetroCount was one of the proud sponsors of this event, the most successful of its kind to date. The 4-day conference offered a large variety of activities and world-class local international speakers. Among them, Paul Steely White has traveled from NYC to share his experience as a leading advocate for alternative transportation in the Big Apple. An old acquaintance of MetroCount, Paul has encouraged the NYDOT to install the RidePod® BP system for monitoring cyclists along the Hudson River.
MetroCount @ the AITPM National Conference
This conference has been a great opportunity for us to catch up with clients and friends and meet new like-minded professionals. Besides entertaining our booth guests with stories about our traffic counting solutions and future developments, we were delighted to participate in the bike tour, the electric bus ride and the conference dinner. In addition, our General Manager – Vern Bastian chaired the seminar opening the Freight, Ports and Aviation stream, a completely new venue for the AITPM.
As Bronze Sponsors, we also had the chance to host the closing conference event at the Flour Factory. With about 250 attendees, the evening was a well-deserved celebration for delegates and organisers alike. After four long days or workshops and seminars, it was great to see everyone relaxed and enjoying themselves.
Thank you everyone for attending and visiting our booth!
