TrafficInfraTech Expo 2016
Exhibiting on behalf of MetroCount at TrafficInfraTech Expo 2016, Mark Eyre and Maurice Berger had the pleasure to spend the first three days of September in Mumbai. Big admirers of India, the pair is visiting the land of Baharad for the second time this year. While a few months back, their journey’s purpose was to provide technical training to authorities, this time around they engaged with those looking for traffic monitoring solutions.

Hasan M Naqvi – Chief General Manager (Tech), Road Safety Cell, NHAI, has stressed the importance of studying the triggers of poor traffic, implement adequate solutions, and then apply this gained knowledge to new infrastructure design and construction. To understand road
To understand road conditions and driver behaviour, in recent years Indian road managers have been dedicated to regularly conducting traffic surveys. After working closely with MetroCount experts, the authorities have been deploying numerous portable tube classifiers across its road network. This interest in accurate data was also directly felt at our TrafficInfraTech booth, with attendees investigating our short-term and permanent monitoring solutions.
