    Hello,

With my current version of MTEXec, I am unable to find the option where it allows you to change the location of where your data is unloaded to. I can change it manually but there used to be an option where it would allow you to set an automatic location.

For example : It would create a new folder for 2016 and place all data in that but at the moment it is placing all data in a random folder within Metro count.

I hope my explanation was clear to have my issue sorted out.

    Thankyou!

    Hello Vuong,

    Thanks for the message.

Before you run any reports in MTE v4.06, select from the top toolbar View >> Settings >> Working Folders. You will find the third line on the screen is listed as the “Override folder for unloaded data“. The default is \Data. Change the folder location to unload data here.

With respect to ensuring data is unloaded into the \year folder (ie, 2017 this year), select from the top toolbar View >> Settings >> Communication. Click on the ellipsis (box with three dots) which will allow you to:

    1. subgroup unloaded data; and
    2. define the filename template.

The unload folder path will be shown on the last line.

Trust this helps with your MetroCount experience.

We would look forward to discussing this further as well as other tips, tricks and shortcuts. When available could you email support@metrocount.com and we’ll call you back.

    Regards,

    MetroCount Support.

Hello Maurice, thank-you for your reply.

This has fixed my problem! I also noticed the reason why I could do this myself was because whenever a Tab was opened (report tab etc) the option “working folder” would disappear.

    Thankyou again!

    Regards, Vuong
