The release of the RoadPod VM is a culmination of over 5 years’ research and development by MetroCount engineers and 3 years of testing in real-world conditions.
It is the only system on the market that can be installed in 5 minutes and provides real-time data year-round.
Traffic information, including volume, speed, length-based classification, direction and vehicle gap data, is immediately sent to the interactive ATLYST® dashboard.
Data can also be sent to variable VMS boards at the roadside. This can warn motorists of congestion ahead, speeding or whether they’re too close to the vehicle in front.
