The Governor of Western Australia, His Excellency Kim Beazley, and the Honourable Bill Johnston MLA presented MetroCount the award at Government House alongside 12 other Export Award category winners.

This is an astounding accomplishment that celebrates our commitment to green business practices and the environment. It considered MetroCount’s efforts to:

  • Plant 10 trees in developing countries with every traffic counter we sell (in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects).
  • Source materials and services wherever possible from local businesses.
  • Design and manufacture all our products for extreme energy efficiency and to work off-grid.
  • Avoid planned obsolescence with products built to last decades.
