Innovation at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2022
Thanks to everyone who came to visit us at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2022. It was great to meet face-to-face again and see the transportation innovation that has occurred over the last few years.
MetroCount has not been idle during the pandemic. As such, we were proud to release our brand new patented RoadPod® VM real-time traffic monitoring system at Intertraffic. This system reliably and accurately captures individual vehicle data in real-time. See the video below to understand more:
Real-time data on every vehicle
The release of the RoadPod VM is a culmination of over 5 years’ research and development by MetroCount engineers and 3 years of testing in real-world conditions.
It is the only system on the market that can be installed within 5 minutes and provide data year-round in real-time.
Traffic information including volume, speed, length-based classification, direction and vehicle gap data is immediately sent to the interactive ATLYST® dashboard.
Data can also be sent to variable VMS boards at the roadside. This can warn motorists of congestion ahead, speeding or whether they’re too close to the vehicle in front.
